The 2025 East Coast Conference (ECC) Baseball Championship is set to begin on May 8 at Sal Maglie Stadium in Niagara Falls, NY. The tournament, which will run through May 10, features a loaded field, including No. 1 Molloy, No. 2 Staten Island, No. 3 Mercy, and No. 4 Queens, all vying for the automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

Molloy (29-17, 15-5 ECC) – The Defending Champions
Molloy enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed, having clinched its fourth consecutive ECC Regular Season Championship. With titles in 2021, 2022, and 2024, the Lions are the defending ECC Tournament champions and have reached the finals in four of the last five years. This experienced squad will be looking to extend their dominance in the conference and claim another title.
Staten Island (18-26, 11-9 ECC) – A First-Time Contender
Staten Island enters the tournament as the No. 2 seed, having secured an 11-9 record in ECC play. This marks the Dolphins' first-ever appearance in the ECC Baseball Championship. While new to the postseason, Staten Island’s underdog status could lead to a thrilling story if they manage to upset some of the more established teams in the tournament.
Mercy (28-22, 10-10 ECC) – Seeking Their First ECC Title
Mercy comes into the championship as the No. 3 seed, looking for the program's first-ever ECC Baseball Championship title. With a strong 28-22 record this season, the Mavericks are eager to build on their postseason experience and make a run at the top prize.
Queens (18-26, 9-11 ECC) – The Reigning Champions
Queens enters as the No. 4 seed but boasts the most recent championship pedigree in the field, having won the ECC title in 2023. The Knights will be aiming for their second titles in three years , and its their sixth consecutive appearance in the ECC Baseball Championship, the longest active streak in the conference.

Game 7 – If Necessary – Game 6 Participants (If winner of Game 5 wins Game 6)(Game 7 would begin 30 minutes after field preparation is completed)
