Each week, teams rise to the occasion and solidify themselves as contenders in their respective regions. Here are this week’s biggest winners from the Midwest, South Central, East, and Atlantic regions from Will Conerly. Six from each Region.
East Region Winners
Post University (CACC)
The Eagles were my lone winner last week, and they continue to roll. At 14-9 overall and a perfect 10-0 in CACC play, Post boasts the longest road win streak in the nation and is off to its best-ever start in CACC play. Their offensive production has surged from a .289 average last season to .332 this year.
Goldey-Beacom (CACC)
The Lightning are scorching hot, riding the nation’s longest winning streak at 15 games while sitting undefeated in conference play (12-0). Goldey-Beacom ranks 6th in the nation in stolen bases per game, showcasing speed and versatility. Pace (NE10)
The Setters went 3-1 this week, including a series win over New Haven on the road, allowing just one total run in their two victories. They now sit at 13-11 overall and 5-5 in NE10 play.

Franklin Pierce (NE10)
A huge road series win, taking three of four from Bentley. The Ravens (13-15, 4-3 NE10) have faced adversity this year, but this performance shows they’re trending in the right direction.
Saint Anselm (NE10)
Saint Anselm secured its first two conference wins with a sweep over Saint Michael's, improving to 6-16 overall and 2-3 in NE10 play.
Atlantic Region Winners
Gannon (PSAC)
Gannon split a PSAC series against a 17-5 California (PA) squad, showing they are no pushover. Now 10-14, this team is already near its total win count from last season (11) and adding to the depth of the PSAC.
Indiana (PA) (PSAC)
After a tough start, IUP bounced back by winning a PSAC series against Slippery Rock. Head coach Steve Kline also notched his 100th career victory at IUP. Now 7-18 overall and 3-5 in PSAC play, the Crimson Hawks are showing resilience.
Mansfield (PSAC)
Mansfield split a road series with Shepherd and is 10-13 overall, 4-4 in PSAC play. That’s a massive improvement from last year’s 8-24 conference record.
Top of PSAC East: West Chester, Millersville & East Stroudsburg
All three teams rank top-11 nationally in our latest rankings. East Stroudsburg (20-6, 6-2 PSAC) swept Bloomsburg this weekend while maintaining a 3.44 ERA and a .983 fielding percentage. West Chester (22-5) has won seven straight after sweeping Kutztown.
Clarion (PSAC)
Clarion is on a nine-game winning streak after sweeping Pitt-Johnstown, leading the PSAC West at 7-1 under head coach Johnny Poss.
Concord (MEC) & West Virginia State (MEC)
Concord (16-11, 8-2 MEC) is vastly improved from last year and just swept four MEC games. West Virginia State (12-13, 4-6 MEC) took two games from MEC North leader Point Park, a big statement win.
Midwest Region Winners
Davenport (GLIAC)
The Panthers won three of four against Grand Valley, positioning themselves as the best team in the Midwest right now. They also own the 2nd-best KPI in the country, a key NCAA Tournament seeding metric.
Illinois-Springfield (GLVC)
UIS is on a seven-game win streak, scoring 56 runs in a series sweep of Lincoln. The team has hit 42 home runs in 26 games.
Indianapolis (GLVC)
UIndy has won five of its last six, securing a home series win against Missouri S&T.
Wisconsin-Parkside (GLIAC)
The Rangers (20-7) are on another five-game win streak after sweeping Roosevelt.
Saginaw Valley (GLIAC)
The Cardinals (18-6) are on a seven-game win streak, sweeping William Jewell.
Northwood (GMAC)
Northwood (17-10, 12-0 GMAC) has won 12 straight games after sweeping Kentucky Wesleyan.
South Central Region Winners
Colorado Mesa (RMAC)
The Mavericks are on a nine-game win streak, sitting atop the RMAC at 15-1. Paul Schoenfeld has been instrumental, hitting .410 with 12 doubles and six homers.
CSU-Pueblo (RMAC)
The Thunderwolves swept Colorado Christian on the road and are now 17-13 overall, 7-5 RMAC. Christian Castaneda is batting .413 with 12 doubles and six homers.
Adams State (RMAC)
Despite a 13-21 record, Adams State is 9-7 in RMAC play after splitting a series with MSU Denver, proving they can battle.
Eastern New Mexico (LSC)
The Greyhounds (22-12, 20-12 LSC) have already surpassed last season’s win total and are riding an eight-game win streak.
Offensive Firepower in the South Central
The top two teams in batting average nationally hail from this region: Angelo State (LSC) and Regis (RMAC). Four of the top-five slugging teams are also from here, including Lubbock Christian and MSU Denver.
