D2 Baseball Conference Tournaments Information (8/19) RMAC has a New Tournament Format

In part of the offseason, you can never be early for the upcoming 2027 Conference Tournament and its changes. I will breakdown all of the info.

ALL INFO ON DATES, TIMES, STREAM COSTS, AND MORE ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Here's the current state of 2027 Conference Tournaments as of August 19th:

Conference Carolinas (10 team tournament, first two games elimination games, then eight team double elimination):

Dates: May 5-10

Location(s): CaroMount Health Park - Gastonia, NC

Cost to stream: $30 for the Tournament on the Conference Carolinas Digital Network

CACC (Eight teams, first weekend at higher seed in a best-of-3, then four-team double elimination bracket at neutral site following weekend)

Dates: May 7-8, May 13-15

Cost to stream: Free on the CACC Network

It was just announced that Wilmington will host the double elimination portion of the bracket. On Friday May 7th, the four higher seeds will play two games and the if-necessary third game on Saturday, May 8th.

On Thursday, May 13th, the four remaining teams will play a double elimination bracket to crown the champion on Saturday, May 15th. Game Times TBA.

CCAA (Six teams, first two games single elimination, then four team-double elimination)

Dates: May 12-15

Location: Otter Sports Complex - Seaside, CA (Hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay)

With the addition of both Menlo and Fresno Pacific, the CCAA has re-expanded its tournament back to six teams compared to the five team tournament in 2026.

The first two games feature the four lowest seeds (3 vs 6; 4 vs 5) in a single elimination game on Wednesday, May 12. The two winners will then be reseeded (if-necessary) and play a four-team double elimination bracket from Thursday, May 13 to Saturday, May 15. Game Times TBA.

ECC (Four-team double elimination bracket)

Dates: May 13-15

Location: CSI Baseball Complex (Staten Island, NY - Hosted by Staten Island)

Stream: FloSports ($)

The four highest seeds in the ECC will travel to Staten Island, NY to play a four-team double elimination bracket from Thursday, May 13, to Saturday, May 15. Game Times TBA.

G-MAC (Eight teams, four from each division, double elimination bracket)

Dates: May 12-15

Location: Prasco Park (Mason, OH)

Stream: FloSports ($)

The G-MAC will remain at Prasco Park/Legacy Field and will begin on Wednesday, May 12 thru Saturday, May 15. Game Times TBA.

GNAC (Three team round robin, then two best records play championship game)

Dates: May 13-14

Location: WOU Baseball Field (Monmouth, OR - Hosted by Western Oregon)

Stream: GNAC Network ($)

The Top three teams in the GNAC will play two games on Thursday, May 13th, then the two best records will play in the championship game on Friday, May 14th. Game Times TBA.

NSIC (Eight team double elimination bracket):

Dates: May 12-15

Location(s): TBA

Cost to stream: Midco Sports Plus ($ - TBA on exact cost)

The NSIC Tournament will remain eight teams as a double elimination format. It is assumed that the tournament will remain in Sioux Falls, SD, split between the campuses of Augustana and Sioux Falls. Once that is confirmed, it will be published. It will begin on Wednesday, May 12 thru Saturday, May 15.

PacWest (Four-team double elimination bracket)

Dates: May 12-14

Location: Golden Eagles Field (Irvine, CA - Hosted by CUI)

Stream: PacWest Network ($)

The four highest seeds in the PacWest will travel to Irvine, CA to play a four-team double elimination bracket from Wednesday, May 12, to Friday, May 14. Game Times TBA.

Peach Belt (Two four-team double elimination brackets at top two seeds, then best-of-3 at highest remaining seed)

Dates: May 7-9, May 13-15

Location(s): Top two seeds, highest remaining seed

Cost to stream: PBC Sports Network ($30 for tournament pass)

The Peach Belt will feature an eight-team tournament that is split into two four-team brackets at the two highest seeds.

The brackets will split as follows and will be played from Friday, May 7th to Sunday, May 9th

Bracket 1 (#1 seed):

1 seed vs 8 seed

4 seed vs 5 seed

Bracket 2 (#2 seed):

2 seed vs 7 seed

3 seed vs 6 seed

The two bracket winners will play a best-of-3 at the highest remaining seed from Thursday, May 13th to Saturday, May 15th. Game Times TBA.

PSAC (Ten Teams Single Elimination Bracket, Top Five Teams each Division)

Dates: May 12-15

Location: Cooper Park - Millersville, PA (Hosted by Millersville)

Cost to Stream: FREE on the PSAC Network

The PSAC Tournament will be entering year two of the single elimination tournament format.

Five teams from each division will play survive-and-advance baseball to crown a champion starting on Wednesday, May 12 and going to Saturday, May 15. Game Times TBA.

RMAC (NEW FORMAT - Eight teams, first weekend at higher seed in a best-of-3, then four-team double elimination bracket at neutral site following weekend)

Dates: May 7-9, May 13-15

New to 2027 is the RMAC Tournament format. Eight teams will compete for the crown, as the top four seeds will host the lower four seeds in a best-of-3 from May 7 to May 9.

The four winners will then play a double elimination bracket the following weekend that is hosted by the highest remaining seed.

SAC (Two four-team double elimination brackets at top two seeds, then best-of-3 at neutral site - TBD)

Dates: May 6-9, May 14-15

Location(s): Top two seeds, neutral site

The SAC will feature an eight-team tournament that is split into two four-team brackets at the two highest seeds.

The brackets will split as follows and will be played from Thursday, May 6th to Sunday, May 9th

Bracket 2 (#2 seed):

2 seed vs 7 seed
