Our Series to Watch Picks Results:

Tampa vs Georgia College

The defending National Champion Spartans prevailed by sweeping the Bobcats at home. Games 1 and 2 in the series were close by the scores of 5-4 and 5-3 respectively until Tampa flexed their muscle 10-2 to sweep.

Arizona State Transfer Kevin Karstetter set the tone all weekend, going 5-for-11 with 4 RBI, including the walk-off single on opening night.

Both C.J. Williams (FAU Transfer) and Jake Stipp (Returner) threw 4 shutout innings with 3 Ks in Games 2 and 3, respectively.

Tampa will travel to Montevallo next weekend.

Young Harris vs AUM

No. 15 Young Harris completes the sweep of AUM in one of our series to watch picks, winning the final game 11-4.

The Preseason All-American duo of Jack Enrico and Jeremy Begora each homered on Sunday, but the real star of the weekend is Freshman Carlos Martans, who went 7-for-13 with a homer and 5 RBI. Martans went 3/5 Sunday.

That's not to mention the combined 12 shutout innings between the starts by Zach Hart and Drew Howard over the weekend.

The Mountain Lions will play a total of 4 games next weekend between Columbus State and Lenoir-Rhyne.

West Florida vs Florida Southern

Florida Southern picks up a big series win against RV West Florida in one of our series to watch picks, as Rick O’Dette picked up his first win and series win as head coach for Florida Southern.

He brought along Mikey Scott from St Leo, who went 3/4 with 3 RBI and 7-for-13 on the weekend.

Roshean Riley went 5/12 with 3 RBI.

Westmont vs Cal Poly Pomona

Cal Poly Pomona, after dropping the first game of the series, rallies back to get the series win by winning both games on Saturday, including a thrilling walk-off finish in extras in the first game. Robbie Treto and Tyler Chaffee stepped up as pinch-hitters, delivering hits to cap off a 4-run bottom of the ninth to tie the game. Julian Angulo walked it off with a single in extras.

In the final game of the series (second game of the DH), the Broncos scored in each of the first four innings. Johnny Pappas homered and Julian Angulo went 3-for-5 in that game.Pappas on the weekend went 7-for-16 with a trio of home runs while Angulo went 9-for-15.

Cal Poly Pomona hosts No.7 Colorado Mesa for a 4-game set starting on Thursday.

Texas Permian-Basin vs Angelo State

Angelo State completed the 4-game sweep of UTPB at home to start the 2025 campaign.

Angelo State scored 10+ runs in every game of the series, led by a dynamite week by Tayten Tredaway, who went 11-for-18 with 10, yes 10 RBI.

DBU Transfer Nick Wilson excelled in Game 1 of the series, going 6 shutout with 6 Ks.

Kevin Brooks and Co. are still looking like the perennial powerhouse that they are.
