There is a specific weight to the air in the Deep South as April turns toward May—a thickness that signals both the arrival of the summer heat and the end of the line for the regular season. We have reached the final weekend of Gulf South Conference baseball, and the math has finally turned mean. At the summit of the standings, we are staring down a high-noon shootout for the conference crown. Six teams have the opportunity to clinch at least a share of the regular season title. Three teams are battling for two spots.
Current Standings (as of morning 4/23):

For the faithful in Livingston, Cleveland, and Clinton, the next three games will be a test of the nerves. In this league, every strikeout carries the weight of a season’s labor, and every base hit feels like a temporary reprieve. It will be loud, it will be stressful, and for some, it will be the end of the road.
Here is how the landscape settles as we prepare for the final act of the GSC regular season:
Note: For the regular season title scenarios, it will be broken down as such: For teams who can clinch GSC Title Outright, ONLY those scenarios will be shown (there are ways those teams can clinch a share, but the scenarios are too large and complex). For teams who can only clinch the a share of the GSC Title, those scenarios will be shown.
