March 30 D2 Baseball Top 25: The 30-3 Colorado Mesa Mavericks are the Top Team in the Country

In the latest D2 Baseball Top 25 rankings, Colorado Mesa has jumped three spots to claim the top spot. The Mavericks swept Colorado School of Mines over the weekend and have won 29 straight games against D2 opponents.
Tampa remains at No.2 after a 4-0 week with a Monday win over NAIA Warner and a weekend sweep over Embry-Riddle on the road. Catawba remains at No.3 after sweeping Coker over the weekend, going 3-1, their lone loss being to a ranked Francis Marion squad. Pittsburg State drops to No.4 from No.1 after going 1-3, getting swept over the weekend by Northwest Missouri State.
North Greenville enters the Top 5 at No.5 with a 3-1 week, losing a midweek to Newberry before a road sweep of Ferrum. Grand Valley State moves up to No.6, two spots from last week. The Lakers swept Purdue Northwest in 4 games.
Central Missouri remains at No.7, winning their lone midweek game against Washburn.
Lenoir-Rhyne moves up one spot to No.8 after going 3-1 on the week with a midweek win over Barton and a series win over UVA Wise.
West Florida moves up two spots to No.9, entering the Top 10 with a weekend sweep over AUM.
Point Loma rounds out the Top 10, dropping five spots after going 1-3 against Concordia Irvine in a series to watch pick.
Francis Marion moves two spots up to No.11 after a 3-1 week, which included a midweek win over No.3 Catawba and a series win over Mount Olive.
West Alabama remains at No.12 after a series win against Union.
Young Harris moves up one spot to No.13 after going 4-1 with a weekend sweep over King. The Mountain Lions split a two game midweek set against Montevallo.
UT Tyler moves up three spots again with a weekend sweep over UTPB, outscoring them 55-7 in the four game series.
North Georgia stays put at No.15. The Nighthawks dropped a midweek game against Emmanuel but swept Augusta on the road. Wingate stays put after a similar result, a midweek loss to RV UNC Pembroke with a series sweep of Emory & Henry.
Cal State Monterey Bay at 22-8 drops seven spots after going 1-3 on the road at Cal State East Bay.
Augustana stays at No.18 with a 3-1 week, winning a weekend series against Minot State and winning a midweek game against Sioux Falls. Wayne State (MI) also remains in the same spot as last week, they went 2-2 against Davenport on the road.
Rogers State remains at No.20, with three run-rule wins. Two of those came in a series win against RV Emporia State, which included a no-hitter by Zach Horwith.
Rollins stays the same at No.21 with a series win over Lynn at home.
West Chester took 3 of 4 against East Stroudsburg and remain at No.22.
Seton Hill had a 5-0 week at stay at No.23, as the Griffins beat Shippensburg in a midweek, before taking all four games against IUP.
Belmont Abbey stays at No.24 after back-to-back weeks of going 5-0. This time, they beat Emory & Henry and Mars Hill, both in midweeks, before sweeping Barton.
Westmont returns to the Top 25 at 20-6 after a few weeks, going 3-1 at home against Hawaii-Hilo.
