A new No. 1 has taken over the D2 Baseball Top 25, as Angelo State (26-6) climbs to the top spot in this week’s rankings. The Rams have been one of the most consistent teams in the country, and their dominant play in the Lone Star Conference earns them the coveted top ranking.

Meanwhile, Minnesota State (21-2) makes a major leap into the Top 10, climbing from No. 13 to No. 6. The Mavericks have been red-hot and are proving they are a force in the Central Region.
Another big story is Florida Southern (24-7), which surges into the Top 5 at No. 4 after a string of impressive performances in the loaded Sunshine State Conference. The Mocs are making a strong case as a national contender after taking a series versus previous No.1 Tampa this weekend.
This week also sees four new teams enter the rankings, including North Georgia (No. 17), Colorado Mesa (No. 20), Francis Marion (No. 21), and St. Edward’s (No. 24). Each program has battled through a tough schedule and now earns a well-deserved spot among the nation's best.
One of the biggest risers this week is Young Harris, jumping five spots from No. 17 to No. 12. The Mountain Lions have quietly put together an impressive resume and continue to climb in the Southeast Region.
