Biggest MEC Winner: West Virginia StateThe Yellow Jackets have won six straight and now sit at 11–11 in MEC play. They swept Concord over the weekend and added two more wins at Bluefield State to stay hot down the stretch.

Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)

Tournament Dates: May 7–10

Format: The first round consists of four single-elimination games. The remaining four teams then advance to a double-elimination format.

Biggest PSAC Winners: Millersville & California (Pa.)

California (Pa.) now sits atop the PSAC West — a team that can no longer be overlooked after a sweep of IUP last week. The Vulcans also split with Seton Hill the week prior and have now won six straight.

Millersville continues to make its case as the region's top team. The Marauders have won seven in a row and boast a dominant 20–1 record at home — a crucial stat, considering the PSAC Tournament will be played at Cooper Park. Millersville faces a gauntlet to end the season, with eight must-see games remaining: they host No. 18 West Chester this weekend and visit No. 17 East Stroudsburg to close out the regular season. The regular-season title may come down to that Millersville–ESU finale.

They’re this week’s biggest winner after sweeping Kutztown and pitching a couple shutouts. In fact, they allowed just one run over the final three games of the series — a dominant showing on the mound that adds to their postseason credentials.

SOUTH CENTRAL (6 Regional Spots) - LSC & RMAC

Lone Star Conference

TOURNAMENT: May 2–4 (Opening Round), May 8–10 (Double-Elimination Championship Round)

The tournament format includes seven teams. Seeds 2 through 4 will host first-round series, while the No. 1 seed hosts the double-elimination championship round.

UT Tyler and Angelo State ride winning streaks into the final weekend of Lone Star Conference play. Angelo State controls its own destiny — a sweep of Cameron this weekend would secure the regular-season title. UT Tyler, just one game back, can enter the title conversation if they sweep St. Mary’s and Angelo fails to do the same.

Eight teams remain in contention for the seven tournament spots. Eastern New Mexico currently sits on the outside looking in, but trails the seventh seed by just one game. ENMU faces Texas A&M International this weekend in a pivotal series.

Lubbock Christian, currently in the top four, faces UT Permian Basin and needs to take at least three of four to guarantee a home series in the opening round. Angelo State and UT Tyler are locked in as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds, respectively. St. Edward’s has secured the No. 3 seed. St. Mary’s and West Texas A&M still have paths to the No. 4 seed if they win their respective series and Lubbock Christian stumbles.

That leaves five teams — currently ranked 4 through 8 — fighting for four spots, with one team to be left out.

Biggest Winner: Texas A&M-KingsvilleThe Javelinas took three of four from St. Edward’s, one of the top teams in the league, and now sit in the No. 7 spot. They head to West Texas A&M this weekend with a tournament berth on the line. WTAMU would clinch a spot with a series split, while Kingsville would need to win three of four. If Kingsville only splits or worse, their fate could depend on what Eastern New Mexico does.

Regardless, it was a huge weekend for Kingsville — highlighted by a 20-run outburst and a tight one-run win to clinch the series..

RMAC

Tournament: May 7–10

STANDINGS:

Biggest Winner: Adams State

Adams State secured a crucial sweep of New Mexico Highlands, clinching their spot in the RMAC Tournament. While New Mexico Highlands is at the bottom of the standings, the sweep was impressive—especially considering Adams State scored 17+ runs in three of the four games.

It appears it's Colorado Mesa once again at the top of the RMAC, close to making it offically 12 seasons in a row finishing first in the RMAC. In 25 years at the helm, Chris Hanks has finished first or second every season in RMAC play. They've been to a regional in every season since 2009, and have been to 21 Regionals in his tenure. Missing the NCAA Tournament just one time since 2004, which was in 2008, when they won 42 games and finished in first place in the RMAC. Unreal.

MIDWEST REGION (7 Regional Spots) - GLIAC, G-MAC, GLVC

GLIAC

TOURNAMENT: May 8th - 11th

STANDINGS

GLIAC Standings (APRIL 23)
GLIAC Standings (APRIL 23)

Davenport is on the fast track to securing the No. 1 seed in the GLIAC Tournament. They only need to win three of their final eight games to lock up the regular-season title. This weekend presents a prime opportunity—if they win three of four at Wayne State, they’ll clinch the title with 18 wins, which is the maximum that Grand Valley State (GVSU) can achieve. Davenport already holds a three-of-four advantage over GVSU, giving them the edge. Davenport

Biggest Winner: Davenport – With their win over this past week, sweeping Saginaw Valley, Davenport now continutes to control the regular season, and the greater conversations within this region. Parkside had a split against Missouri S&T, but nothing particularly noteworthy. Grand Valley State, however, did win three of four against Wayne State, which has them in second place.

GLVC

TOURNAMENT: May 7th - 10th

STANDINGS

GLVC STANDINGS (APRIL 23)
GLVC STANDINGS (APRIL 23)

Lewis has clinched a bid to the tournament, and a sweep this weekend would secure at least a share of the regular season title.

Biggest Winner: McKendree – The Bearcats swept William Jewell in GLVC play, scoring 7+ runs in all four games and 10+ runs in three of them. This sweep has vaulted them into the hunt for a GLVC Tournament spot, as they jumped over William Jewell in the standings. With eight games left, McKendree will face tough opponents (Drury, currently 5th, and UIS, currently 2nd), but they’ve given themselves a chance. Big shoutout to their SID, Max Bennett, who was a key source earlier in the year sharing updates, like the fact that McKendree has hit a lot of home runs. He's right, they've launched 74 home runs in 40 games! They’ve got four players with 10+ home runs, showcasing impressive power.

G-MAC

TOURNAMENT: May 7th - 10th

STANDINGS

G-MAC (April 23rd)
G-MAC (April 23rd)

Series of the Year: This weekend's showdown between Northwood and Ashland is the biggest series in the G-MAC. I'll take the Eagles to win, but it's clearly a battle between the two best teams in the league.

Biggest Winner: Walsh sweeps Malone, putting them in a strong position to battle Kentucky Wesleyan for the top spot in the South!

EAST (7 Regional Spots) - CACC, ECC, NE10

CACC

TOURNAMENT: May 2-3, May 8-10

Eight teams make the tournament: the top four from the North and the top four from the South.

STANDINGS

CACC Standings (April 23)
CACC Standings (April 23)

Seven of the eight tournament spots have been decided, with the final spot coming down to Caldwell and Bridgeport, though Caldwell is close to clinching.

The top seed in the North is still up for grabs, with Dominican, Post, and Felician all vying for that No. 1 spot. The winner of this weekend's Dominican-Post matchup will have a strong chance, but if they split, Felician, who has four games against Caldwell, could capitalize.

In the South, Jefferson and Goldey-Beacom are battling for the top spot, with Wilmington still in the mix. Wilmington faces Goldey-Beacom, and both teams have a shot at securing the No. 1 spot. A lot is still to be decided as the regular season wraps up next Wednesday, just ahead of the tournament starting next week. We’ll have more on that next week.

Biggest Winner: Felician – What a run they’re on! Ten straight wins have put them in a strong position for the No. 1 seed in the North. While their last six victories have come against the bottom two teams in the division, they’ve improved to 28-15 overall and 22-8 in conference play. They’ll face Caldwell this weekend, who’s fighting to secure the final tournament spot.

ECC

TOURNAMENT: May 8th - 11th

STANDINGS:

Biggest Winner: Mercy has won four of five and now sit at 3rd in the ECC Standings. They play four against Queens (N.Y.) this weekend.

NE10

TOURNAMENT: MAY 6TH (FIRST ROUND), MAY 8TH - 10TH

STANDINGS

NE10 Standings (April 23)
NE10 Standings (April 23)

Biggest Winner: Southern New Hampshire – Despite their struggles this season, which are uncharacteristic compared to their usual standard, they now have a shot at the top spot in the Northeast Division. This comes after winning two of three at Saint Michael's College over the weekend, capping off a seven-game win streak heading into the series finale.

As for the NE10 Tournament, the first round will take place on May 6th, and we'll break it down in more detail next week. The first-round games will be hosted by the higher seeds, and the highest remaining seed in the Southwest Division will host the double-elimination portion.

Franklin Pierce will face a crucial regular season finale against Southern New Hampshire next weekend, but before that, they play American International this weekend. Franklin Pierce is close to clinching the No. 1 seed.
